Rocky Mountain Ridged Mussel

- Seasonal Habits: Reproduce from late May to July
- Temperament: Not aggressive
Also called the Western Ridged Mussel. They can live for 20 - 60 years. They prefer shallow water with a constant flow and sandy or gravel bottom. They have no living relatives, but are related to fossils found in the western United States.
