Muskrat

• Size: 8-10 in long // 1-4lbs
• Diet: Omnivores, mostly cattails and other aquatic plants, but will also eat small animals
• Seasonal Habits: Active year round, and can give birth year round
• Temperament: Known to be aggressive

They are a medium sized semiaquatic rodent. They are medium to dark brown with a heavy round body and small rounded ears and a long, flat, scaly, naked tail. They are powerful swimmers and can stay submerged for up to 20 min.
