Black-tailed Jack Rabbit

• Size: 2 ft long // 3-6 lbs
• Diet: Herbivores, grasses, wildflowers, shrubs and small trees
• Seasonal Habits: Active year round, most often breed in the spring, but can breed year round
• Temperament: Not aggressive

They are actually hares, not rabbits. They have longer ears that stand straight up and they have longer, powerful hind legs that allow them to run away at up to 45 mph
