Bank Vole

• Size: 4-5 in. tall
• Diet: Herbivores, grasses and seeds
• Seasonal Habits: Active year round
• Temperament: Not aggressive

They are small rodents that are related to hamsters and lemmings. They have shorter tails and smaller eyes and ears than mice. They are often active out in open areas, like our meadows.
